Valiant Shield (Pacific Theatre Welcoming Committee)

Okay-Let's pretend you're a country in Asia and you're thinking about stirring up a little regional conflict-maybe in a "renegade province" or maybe testing a missle or two on your Pacific neighbors. Here's your welcoming committee. The United States Military's Valiant Shield.

Operation Valiant Shield (Kicks Ass!)

Okay here's the scenario 22,000 U.S. Sailors, Airmen, and Marines get together for a little exercise in Guam's Part of the Pacific. I can talk about it all I want but the pictures send a thousand words to our friendly neighbors in Asia!

Brush with Greatness! Lt. Dan

One of my favorite show topics is something I call brush with greatness-a chance encounter with an honest to God celebrity. Here's the latest and greatest Big Show listener brush --Former Anderson Air Force Base Public Affairs officer Michel Escudie offers proof of chance encounter with Lt. Dan of Forest Gump fame!

Here's what he wrote:
Gary Sinise dropped by the office yesterday...a brush with greatness : ]

Hope you're well,
Maj Scud

Superman's woman needs a sandwich!

Okay, I understand that not every woman is cut out to be a full figured beauty-but Kate Bosworth co-star of Superman Returns is making the formerly anorexic Mary Kate look positively chubby! I guess food is Kate's new Kryptonite. Somebody feed her now!

Hafa Adai from North Korea

If you've been following the North Korean Missile situation-you'll love this one-a picture and a letter from one of the BIG SHOW listeners

Hafa Adai Trav!

I was out in the yard, close to 7 PM, when I noticed something slowly falling in the sky. It looked very strange since the military planes go one way, airport planes go this way, etc. Anyway, I called the wife to come out and take a look, and I asked her what she thinks it is. She thought the same thing I did - that it was the N. Korean missile test. "It's been nice knowing you!", she joked, LOL. Obviously, it's not it since there is no news yet of the test.

BTW, it was falling really, really slow. Attached is a pic I took. It could be nothing, but it sure was very strange. (It's too far to see what it was, but the trail it left behind was very noticeable).
