Wyland Visits the Island!

Have you ever seen that giant underwater mural at the Guam International Airport? It was painted by Wyland! Super cool famous artist. I got to do a live show at the airport the day he was putting the finishing touches on the thing. He's a pretty nice guy by the way with a great sense of humor. Plus the women love him...I know..the day he was at the airport they were like flies to honey. Don't worry though there was no monkey business. He's married to his art...at least that's what he told me ;-)

Art buyers beware !! Wyland keeps making 50% off offers on his lithographs and cibachromes both on the internet and in his galleries. Of course he does !! The lithos and cibas are little more than medium to higher grade POSTERS.. even if they are "signed and numbered" by the artist. IF you insist on massaging Wyland's ego by purchasing his art, at least buy the giclee reproduction. And, make sure this isn't the 17th re-release of this same work, making it virtually valueless. Some of his paintings have been released more than Michael Jackon. The newer sculptures are little more than rearranged dolphins or whatever from previous works done years ago. His famous lucite pieces like Dolphin Tribe are made by a company out of California that sells almost the same thing for a fraction of the Wyland price over the internet. Not all are even designed by Wyland, merely OK'ed by him, along with a big profit margin. Come on people, NO MORE BS. Really check out what you are spending your hard earned money on. Wyland's home on the North Shore of Oahu where he imports girls from all over like the Sultan of some small country with lots of oil. It's your money. He just hopes you buy the hype and make it HIS money.
